BE WELL INDIANA
During this unprecedented time, mental health should be a priority for everyone.  The state of Indiana has a website with resources to help manage mental health during this unprecedented time.  It can be a stressful time for parents and students.  The website “Be Well Indiana” has resources for a variety of mental health issues and has been updated with additional information and resources for Covid-19.

During this unprecedented time, Parke Heritage School counselors want to reach out to our community.  There have been a lot of changes and uncertainty during this time.  Mrs. Jane McMullen and Mrs. Sheryl McDaniel are available to help students with academic, career, and social emotional concerns.  We are able to communicate via email and could meet virtually if needed.  Mrs. Laura Hayes is also available via email for any questions regarding dual credit courses.

The School Counseling office is also excited to provide information on a research and evidenced based program that is available to our students through the end of this school year.  Ripple Effect for Teens is a social emotional program that addresses non-academic barriers related to school success.  The program offers more than 400 interactive lessons and activities that teach students to build key resiliency coping strategies.  Ripple Effect is an open resource that focuses first on students most impacted by the pandemic, and learners who absorb the stress related to the pandemic changes such as; missing extended family, friends, and school, lack of normal routines, loss of prior structure, overhearing talk, news, and sensing stress of others.

Students can access through the following link:
