On Saturday, November 17 members of the Parke Heritage HIgh School Family, Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) and the high school culinary arts classes were able to cater the Parke County Community Foundation’s Annual dinner. This year the Community Foundation chose to highlight the arts in Parke County which includes culinary arts.

The group prepared and served a meal to over 250 people. The meal included smoked pork and chicken, baked beans and cole slaw, brownies and cheesecake. Also, hors devours including charcuterie cups and cheeseball bites were served.

Serving at the dinner were front- Hollydawn Crowder, AJ Montgomery, Devin Jones, Noelle Blake, and Kalonie Biszmaier; back- Nathaniel Jones, Mikey Clocksin, Chloe Clocksin, Lillyan Myers, Savannah Cotten, Brooklynn Reath, Hadley Grubbs, and Owen Larson. Not pictured is Adrian Christian. Morgan Cooper serves as the culinary arts teacher and FCCLA advisor.
